''Battaristis rhythmodes'' is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1929. It is found in Brazil (Para).〔(funet.fi )〕 The wingspan is about 7 mm. The forewings are grey, with the tips of the scales pale and with black dots towards the costa at one-sixth and one-third, and in the disc at the middle and two-thirds. There is an oblique dark fuscous streak crossing the fold about one-fourth, and a small spot on the fold before the middle, as well as an elongate-triangular blackish patch extending along the costa from before the middle to near the apex, cut by a short direct whitish strigula at the middle, and an oblique one at three-fourths, the latter almost meeting a fine indistinct erect whitish strigula from the tornus.
